Alexa L. Fogel is a casting director. She is the lead casting director for Treme. She worked with Treme co-creator David Simon on his earlier HBO drama series The Wire and HBO miniseries Generation Kill.
She has also worked on the series The Black Donnellys, Lights Out, Copper, True Detective and Banshee. and the films Stay (2005), The Sitter (2011) and Red Tails (2012).
Following Treme she reunited with Simon as the casting director for the HBO miniseries Show Me a Hero and for the HBO drama series The Deuce.
